Explore the Hohe Tauern National Park
Located in the heart of the Austrian Alps, The Resi is the perfect basecamp for exploring the Saalbach-Hinterglemm region. Popular summer activities include hiking, mountain biking and trailrunning. Many of the mountain bike trails are also suitable for e-bikes.
After all that action and adventure there is no better place to relax than our hotel, set away from the centre of Hinterglemm but just a short walk from the shops and restaurants. Many of the best walking and biking trails lead right past The Resi. And for those further away there is a free hiking bus which stops right outside our front door.

Time for Summer!
Lush meadows, thick forests and sparking lakes
Perched at 1,050 metres above sea level, Saalbach-Hinterglemm is mostly above the clouds which gather in the valley below. Guests appreciate the stable weather and many hours of sunshine.
The highest mountain in the valley is the Gaisstein (2,336 metres). Unlike many mountains in the region it is covered in grass all the way up to the summit. Indeed, it is considered the highest "grass mountain" in Central Europe. Hikers, cyclists and enduro fans will find countless trails to explore. En route there are plenty of mountain huts serving hearty regional food. Last but certainly not least, the Glemmtal Valley has lots of paths suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. Perfect for families!

Guests staying with us at The Resi receive the Saalbach-Hinterglemm Joker Card free of charge. This "golden ticket" gives holders access to many deals and discounts on activities in the region such as cable cars, a hiking bus and a shuttle service at the end of the valley.
